Vehicle emissions contribute significantly to climate change. Quambio, an app, can help lessen that impact by encouraging you to opt for eco-friendly commuting alternatives. Whether walking, biking, or using an electric scooter, your actions can help towards a more sustainable future. Download Quambio and make a difference.
We collaborated with Quambio to create a ground-up experience - a first positive step towards sustainable living through CO2 offsetting and interaction design.

The logo was designed as a representation of the cubes that Quambio uses to calculate rewards and the CO2 saved as part of the fitness algorithm. The dot popping out signifies the savings and also creates a relation to the word "Q".
The Dashboard
See your weekly stats on a user-friendly dashboard showing distance, time, and earned cubes. We designed the graph with the brand's cube element, making data representation clean and relevant.
Activity Tracker
Users can select cycle or walk modes, allowing them to see how much carbon they save by choosing eco-friendly transport. This feature encourages sustainable behavior and shows the benefits of such choices.
Through carbon footprint tracking, users can see the positive effect of their actions and make decisions to further lower their environmental impact.
Rewards
Earn cube points with Quambio for every kilometer you walk or cycle, creating a rewarding way to cut down CO2 emissions. We've designed our app to motivate users to choose sustainable transport.
Users can monitor their progress, stay inspired, and positively impact the environment through cube points. Our app fosters a community of users committed to sustainable choices and reducing their carbon footprint.
Adaptive Themes
Quambio's unique theme system offers a fun way for users to track their CO2 reduction progress. As users save more CO2, the app updates its theme, unlocking fresh and special themes to enjoy.
This feature adds extra motivation for users to reach their environmental goals and make a positive impact.
Challenges
Join challenges with similar-minded individuals and partake in company or group challenges via the Quambio app. Together, you can make a larger dent in CO2 emissions.
Compete with friends and colleagues, earning rewards for goal achievement and progress.
Engaging in these challenges keeps you motivated in your sustainable lifestyle while contributing to a greater purpose
Impact & Reach
We took Quambio from Zero - One launching the app and took to a beta testing stage refining the product and its features to be used in every scenario.
The Quambio app went on to win the Good design award in 2021 and featured on major Swiss publication networks.
