Background

A connected experience for everyday living

We developed an ecosystem that encourages passive users to become active and empowered through a seamless, gradual interface.

Our approach introduced users to basic functionalities and gradually led them to advanced features like automation, sleep cycle tracking, and analytics.

Research

Understanding Indian households at scale

Panasonic Miraie home context

Through interviews and home visits, we categorized users into active, passive, and power users to shape an adaptable experience across devices.

We translated key functions into clear user flows and aligned the team around a shared journey map.

Interaction building blocks

Familiar patterns with modern capability

We introduced a subtle neo-morphic UI to replicate familiar objects like switchboards and thermostats, reducing the learning curve.

Layered dashboard interactions and multi-gesture navigation created intuitive control with visual feedback.
